How to register
Registering is quick, easy and free. You must be over the age of 18, click on Join and complete the form. Your account will be instantly enabled, allowing you to start purchasing straight away. Bits4Farms will not disclose to any third parties your personal information without your consent.
You may have problems with e-mail being blocked from Bits4Farms by your email server. We would recommend ‘white listing’ Bits4Farms prior to signing up. White list the domain *@bits4farms.co.nz and *@bits4farms.com.
Difficulty logging in
Ensure that you are using the same username and password that you entered upon registration. If you have lost your username or password you can refer back to your welcome email or retrieve your password on the login page. If you are still experiencing problems, please contact us.
Delivery delays
Some suppliers can take up to 5 (five) days to dispatch goods. It is best to allow 14 (fourteen) working days before contacting Bits4Farms or the supplier. It is important that you contact the supplier directly before contacting Bits4Farms.
Double check that you provided the correct delivery details prior to contacting the supplier.
Inaccurate product information
Bits4Farms prides itself on monitoring the content of all listings on our website. If you read something that is technically incorrect (not just someone selling their product) let us know and we will look into for you. This keeps the Bits4Farms community honest.
Changing your details
You can change your personal details at any time by clicking 'Account' upon logging in.
Purchase products from several retailers at once
Bits4Farms enables you to easily purchase items with several suppliers and make a single credit card payment.
Payments
Payments made by credit card only are accepted. We strive to protect the security of your personal information, including credit card information. We protect your credit card information during transmission by using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts your information when transmitted over the Internet. Your credit card details cannot be accessed by Bits4Farms staff. It is important to protect yourself against unauthorized access to your Bits4Farms account so please keep your password to yourself.
Deliveries to a PO Box
Courier services will only deliver to a physical address, however you can check with the supplier if they will facilitate delivery to a post office box.
Received the wrong products
The Bits4Farms Terms and Conditions stipulate that it is the supplier’s responsibility to organise delivery of the correct item. If a mistake has been made the item will be picked up and replaced at their expense or a full refund will be issued.
Buying online safely
You have exactly the same rights under Consumer Guarantees Act - matched as if you were buying in store.
