All-purpose and specialist tracked tractors from the world’s leading manufacturer

New Holland is the leading manufacturer of all-purpose and specialist tracked tractors in the 76hp class, the latest TK-A versions of these successful units benefiting from new Tier II compliant engines.

The tracked tractor range can be divided into three main groups; all-purpose, fruit and vineyard.

Specialist TK75VA vineyard models run on narrow 270mm shoe plate tracks, and have an operating width as low as 1170mm. Ideally suited to working in traditional vineyards, these small power units are well suited to difficult terrain.

All-purpose models are fitted as standard with the unique New Holland Steering-O-Matic™ system with Full-Drive™. Unlike traditional dual steering lever and foot brake systems, these enable a single steering lever to be used.

For steering without brakes, the lever is moved to the side. To add progressive track braking, the steering lever is pushed further over to the point where the system can completely lock a track for pin-point turns.

High comfort package

Stylish TK-A tractors benefit from an ergonomically designed operating platform, with a high specification suspension seat as standard on all models.

All-purpose models feature ‘silent block’ isolation mounts for the operator platform to further reduce noise and vibration reaching the operator.

A key feature is the positioning of the main controls and the standard fitment of draft controls with the proven Lift-O-Matic™ automatic raise and lower system.

Three and four-cylinder power

The Tier II compliant engines that power TK-A tractors have been purpose developed for agriculture, with exactly the right power characteristics to suit both heavy draft and demanding PTO applications.

Advanced features for ease of use

Further operator friendly features include the unique overcentre traction clutch. Unlike traditional tracked vehicle hand clutch designs, the overcentre clutch progressively engages until it reaches the spring pressure of the overcentering mechanism. At this point, it engages the clutch fully, but is not locked into position until pushed past the overcentering spring pressure.

A clutch brake prevents the shafts in the transmission turning when drive is disengaged. This makes selecting each of the eight forward and reverse speeds a simple task. Eight additional creep speeds are available.
