Taege Post Drivers have been produced in Sheffield, Canterbury for the last 12 years by Taege Engineering, a farming community agriculture engineering company. Their post drivers have become the preferred choice of many successful fencing contractors, property developers and farmers.

With the demands for an extremely strong solid post driver to handle the very rocky conditions in the Canterbury foothills, the Taege Contractors driver was initially produced, and now there are 4 drivers in the range from a basic Farmer 500lb option up to a fully optioned contractors version.

You have the option of completely hydraulically controlled monkey, top link, angle link, side shift, end shift, spike carrier/puller, spike/auger turner, flip top mast, auger unit, individually controlled legs, monkey safety catch, and side mount. If you don’t enjoy pulling levers you can be up and running with one but if you do you can have up to 12 to choose from.

With the popularity continually growing, the demand for a bigger range of driver was evident. The Farmer range was introduced a few years ago and it has proved itself to be equally as successful and popular as the contractor range. There is at present a Farmer 500lb and Farmer 700lb available.

(NOTE: Due to popular demand, Taege are working on building a driver combining the Farmer 700 and the Light Duty Contractor. It will be replacing these two series eventually. It will feature an upgraded mast based on the Farmer series, and the proven bottom end of the Contractor series. The end result will be a driver with a lower mass weight, high monkey capacity, more angle movement, and the strength of the Taege Contractor.)
