We have enough of these calf feeders out there now for us to know we are on to a winner, when we get feedback from customers using words like "awesome", "we love it", "fantastic", " no wastage", " time saving" it makes us very proud to be able to offer this unique feeder.

OK, it was originally designed for the outdoor pig industry and if you look closely next time you are passing one of these farms, there's a good chance you will see some, but this feeder is now making farmers rearing calves sit up and take notice.

Feed is only dispensed when the calves are at the feeder eating, as soon as they walk away, no more feed is dispensed which eliminates wastage from adverse weather conditions or scavengers being of the feathered variety.

With an approximate 600kg hopper capacity, feedback has been very good in regards to time savings made in frequency of filling. A common method of filling the feeder is using bulk bags. The feed level is easily seen from a distance due to the feeders translucent hopper.

Regulating the feed dispensed is achieved simply by moving the adjustment lever to the desired position. There are 14 flow settings from almost free-running to complete shut-off.
