The Stafix Fence Compass is a combined voltmeter and current meter, designed specifically for the rapid location of electric fence faults.

• Large back-lit LCD for use in all light conditions
• Display shows the current, voltage and current direction simultaneously
• Displays the previous current reading to compare values
• Audible current indicator
• Cordless design means no ground probe is required
• Integrated belt clip for convenience
• Robust impact and water-resistant case
• Replaceable 9V battery, giving up to two years of trouble-free use
• Low battery warning system
• Can be used with any pulse Energizer

Using the Fence Compass Start near the Energizer’s leadout wires. Move down the fence line following the arrow away from the Energizer. Take readings at regular intervals and at any junction points.

The previous current reading is shown briefly in the top right corner of the screen so that you can compare the readings. If the current reading suddenly falls, you have gone past a fault. Retrace your steps to find the fault.
