Magnesium oxide (agrimag) aids in the prevention of metabolic disease associated with magnesium deficiency. Agrimag is high quality white magnesium oxide used for drenching or dusting to provide minimum 52% elemental magnesium. Available in 25kg bags.

Aids in the prevention of metabolic diseases associated with magnesium deficiency. Magnesium is needed by animals to maintain normal levels of calcium in the blood.
Magnesium is needed as a co-factor for many chemical reactions in the body.
Magnesium is needed for nerve transmissions, muscle function and bone mineral formation.
Rumen microbes need magnesium to digest dietary fibre.
Cattle cannot store magnesium, therefore daily supplementation is needed.
Feeding Directions
Pasture

Strip dusting – 50g per cow per day OR paddock grazing 500g per cow per week over the grazing area.
Drenching

Mix 1kg of Agrimag to three litres of cold water and mix thoroughly. Drench with 60ml per cow per day to provide 10g of elemental magnesium, or the equivalent of 20g magnesium oxide per cow per day.
On hay or silage

Use 50g of Agrimag per cow per day. Mix with water and pour over feed. Mixing 1kg of Agrimag to three litres of water sprayed on feed will be sufficient to treat 20 cows.
In concentrates

50g of Agrimag per cow per day will meet magnesium requirements and help buffer rumen pH where highly fermentable feeds such as cereal grains are fed.
Important Notes

DO NOT exceed more than 30g of Agrimag as a single drench.
Product Description
Agrimag consists of 87% (minimum) magnesium oxide or 52% (minimum) elemental magnesium. Agrimag comes with a mesh size 200, 95% passes 200 mesh.
