About Healthy Soils
Healthy Soils was established in Dunedin in 1993, by a group of Businessmen who saw the potential to turn fish by-products from an expensive waste problem into a valuable organic fertiliser and soil conditioner.
Three years later the company expanded by the introduction of a number of farmer shareholders who had been using the product regularly with excellent results.
After a decade of operation the company operates from its new factory premises at Ravensbourne Dunedin and distributes product throughout New Zealand and into the Pacific Islands.
The company has an increasing commitment to research and development and has a growing agency force of Men and Women who are becoming very proficient at addressing enquiries from the rural community.
Being predominantly farmer owned and directed the company has a philosophy of supporting many sporting and educational pursuits through product sponsorship and assistance.
By providing this support Healthy Soils has developed a loyal group of clients who in turn support the company.
