About Smart Water Technology Ltd
The Smartwater product has been developed and released by Tim Stone and Chris Harris, the owners of Smart Water Technology Limited. Tim and Chris have over 35 years of electronics experience between them and together have developed multiple industry leading technology products.
Smartwater is a New Zealand business and is operated under the parent company, Ivent Solutions Limited. Ivent is a technology specialist with vast experience in global sourcing, research and design, manufacturing and distribution.
The culmination of this high level of personal and business expertise is a truly reliable and world class product. The Smartwater product is proudly designed and manufactured in Auckland, New Zealand and exported globally.
Tim Stone
Managing Director – Tim has 17 years of industry experience and has managed leading electronic distributors across New Zealand and Australia. His background is one of project management, production process, sales and business marketing. Tim has a passion for aviation, speedway and is a true entrepreneur.

Chris Harris
Technical Director – Chris has over 19 years of electronics experience and is a qualified electronics engineer. Chris initially came up with the concept for the Smartwater product and in true Kiwi style built up a prototype from “parts in the shed”.
After 3 years of intensive research and development he has produced a truly unique “world first” product. Chris has a passion for four wheel driving, outdoor pursuits and all things technical. charris@smartwatertech.co.nz
