Based in the heartland of New Zealand’s premier dairy region, co-founders Kerry and Barbara Powell have combined a background in intensive grassland farming with a background in electrical technology to ensure all products developed by the company offer significant points of advantage – the hallmark of the Taragate™ range.
Heading up the range is the award winning “Taragate™ Multi – Strand Electric Gate”, this exclusive product has for over ten years earned a reputation of proven excellence in the New Zealand market. The range is now extended to over sixty products with a number of these unique to Taragate™.
Taragate™ Ltd has also established a Research and Design team consisting of six independent designers, totalling over 100 years experience in electric fence design and technology. Innovation and excellence are the passion of this team.
Taragate™ products are now successfully exported to Australia, England, Ireland, France as well as Central and South America.
